Decor Dilemma

There is a giant frame hanging in my front room with no picture in it. Well, actually, there are a lot of empty frames in our front room... but that is besides the point. This one is huge- 20x28 inches. Big, right? I got the frame about two years ago when I realized the quote on my wall was going to have to be removed and I 1- didn't want to throw it away, 2- didn't want to get it all messed up taking it down and transporting it to the next wall and 3- didn't want to keep putting it back up. I needed to put it on something permanent and movable- so I got a big frame for it :) Felt pretty genius of me, not going to lie. We had it empty for a few months knowing we were getting family pictures taken. I originally wanted this picture:
in the frame. Then I realized (probably prompted by the persistent promptings to have another child at the time) that our family is only going to get bigger and I really don't want to keep paying for a new family pic that huge. What is a girl going to do? Then I thought, Hmm... fabric? Cute wrapping paper? No. We need a picture. So how about a wedding picture or something of the two of us? We aren't going to change (well, we are... but being married isn't going to change). Ta-da! But not a close up of our faces- I could not look at that every day that big. So now... which picture?! This is where you come in, my dear blogging friends. I need your opinion on what picture. All of you. So here are the options and give me your honest opinion. Even if it is for none of them. Will be appreciated in the end. Oh, and remember... any of these can be edited/altered.

  1. Hard to choose, but since the frame and lettering look black to me, I'd choose the B&W photo of you guys on the beach holding hands. I also like the one right before it if you want more color with Brad in the blue shirt and you in the white.

  2. It is so hard to choose! But, considering colors and all of that I chose #4 - with you in white and Brad in blue. That way there is some light color and the two of you in it, which is what it is all about anyway! :)

  3. Hands down b&w on the beach. It's classic and timeless, win-win.

  5. I like the one on the beach that's kind of slanted that you can see all of you in. Loves Amy!! I MISS YOUR FACE!!!! :)

  6. I say #4 with the close-up of you laughing at each other. If possible, make it so a little more of your faces are showing, if not then I would find another one where you are looking at each other smiling/laughing.

I had another idea too. If you leave that big frame the same then as your family grows add smaller frames around it each one with a picture of your child and place them around that frame. Then years and years and years to come you can put your pictures of your kid's family around yours with pictures of your grandkids.
Pretty soon you will have a giant picture wall :D I know that is far down the road, but just an idea.

    GOOD LUCK!

  9. I would say either the black and white one of you guys on the beach or either of the hands pictures. I really love the picture of your hand with the flower. It's beautiful and artistic and simple.

  10. Alright I would say a new photo or the hand rings one keeping in mind the size of the photo. All of the photos are cute, but on a huge scale might make guest uncomfortable- car legs shot(your butt blown up) the one of you and brad on beach facing each other(your shirt is a little see through) kissing shots blown up no too much. Blown up feet- you get where I am going. Ok so the black and white is good too. And while you are blowing up a photo think of how you are going to want this to look in future houses. The ring hand shot would look good in formal dinning room or living room. Good luck!
