Even though this is our second child, we have a bit of a list of new things to buy for the little guy. On this list was a bassinet.
I started searching in stores and online. I saw two at Target that I liked, but they seemed a bit out of our price range. I came across some other ones online, but I couldn't find any I liked at a decent price (to me). There is a local baby shop in town so we decided to look there for some inspiration for our list for baby. Lo and behold, they have bassinets. Yay! Still out of my price range. But wait... a box was damaged during shipment. There is the tiniest of black spots on some random part of the bassinet. Knock off muchos bucks? Ok- I'll take it! Not only a great deal, but a really great bassinet, too.
I was trying to be patient and not put it together yet, but nesting has hit me and I am limited as to what I can 'nest', so we put it together this weekend. James has become quite the little helper (and in so doing, not so helpful sometimes) and was handing us things, taking things away, putting the baskets in the right place (over and over), and just being fun.
